Mosquito Fish (Gambusia affinis) are a live bearer, meaning they do not spawn eggs, but instead bear young fry. Typically, mosquito fish are no more than 1.5" in length, but can be as large as 4" in length. They are gray in color and are very active swimmers.
Mosquito Fish can be used as a feeder fish, as they are used in place of feeder guppies, but their primary purpose is to control mosquito populations. They are a great addition to any garden pond.
